Rock Hop and Swirl - Land Tour (Combines Sedona Hiking and Scenic Wine Tour)

This Tour combines breathtaking Sedona Hiking in the morning followed by an afternoon of romantic wine tasting tours to meet your wine and adventure needs. We start with your Sedona Hiking portion with the Thunder Mountain Hike. Thunder Mountain is the second tallest mountain in Sedona reaching an elevation of 6,900 feet. Here we hike along its base (no climbing) you can see the beautiful white Kaibab Limestone and red sandstone layers formed millions of years ago. Hike along the base of towering Thunder Mountain where you will see Chimney Rock, Ship Rock, Steamboat Rock and famous Coffee Pot Rock. This trail is approximately a two mile mellow hike, which will include plenty of photo opportunities. Your knowledgeable guide will share the history, geology and mystical traditions of Sedona's powerful Vortex energies.

This Tour will break for lunch on your own for about 1.5 hours before you will be pick up at about 1:00 pm and we are off on the Swirl part of the tour. We become your wine tour guide through Sedona wine country to an exciting portion of the Verde Valley Wine Trail. Our Romantic Scenic Wine Tasting Tour take you to the vineyards along Page Springs where you can dazzle your taste buds with wines from a unique variety of wine tasting. The vineyards include Javelina Leap Vineyards, Oak Creek Cellars and Page Springs Vineyard & Cellars. Each has their own unique blend of wines. This tour includes wine sampling. Wine is also available at the vineyards for purchase. This part of the Tour last approx. 3 to 3.5 hours returning approximately 4: 30. Must have picture ID.

Hiking 2 hours (9am to 11am)

Break for lunch on your own 1.5 hours (11am to 12:30)

Wine Tasting 3.5 hours (1pm to 4:30pm)

Rock Hop and Swirl - River Tour (Combines Sedona Hiking and Water to Wine Tour)

This tour begins with the same Sedona Hiking tour as describe above but combined with our world Famous Water to Wine Tour for those with a romantic adventurous spirit. This sensous, tasteful and adventurous guided tour begins with about an hour float trip down the Verde River in safe and stable funyaks. On this trip you will enjoy the abundant wildlife and magnificent scenery along the river's lush banks. This section of the river offers small chutes and wee drops making your river experience fun and exciting. Your float trip ends at the first winery on the Verde River with the Tuscan style farmhouse of Alcantara Winery & Vineyard. The Alcantara offers award winning wines and knowledgeable Sommeliers and a favorite for those on the Verde Valley Wine Trial. Great photo opportunities! This fabulous tour lasts approximately 3.5 to 4 hours from start to finish. Tour departs daily from the boathouse in Sedona at 1pm. Check in is at 12:45 pm and will return at approximately 5:00 pm. Must have a picture ID.

Each person receives a $20.00 Gift Certificate to be used at the Winery for your wine tasting and the purchase of wine or gifts.
