Combination tour featuring Sedona Hiking with a Verde Valley Wine Tour

The Rock Hop and Swirl Tour combines breathtaking Sedona Hiking in the morning followed by an afternoon of romantic wine tasting.

The Rock Hop and Swirl – Land Tour starts with the Thunder Mountain Hike. Thunder Mountain is the second tallest mountain in Sedona reaching an elevation of 6,900 feet. Sedona Adventures Company’s knowledgable guides you along Thunder Mountains base (no climbing) where you can see the beautiful white Kaibab Limestone and red sandstone layers formed millions of years ago. As you hike along the base of towering Thunder Mountain you will see Chimney Rock, Ship Rock, Steamboat Rock and famous Coffee Pot Rock. . Your knowledgeable guide will share the history, geology and mystical traditions of Sedona’s powerful Vortex energies. The Thunder Mountain Hike is a mellow hike which is approximately two miles long. The hike will include plenty of photo opportunities.

After the Thunder Mountain Hike, The Rock Hop and Swirl – Land Tour will break for lunch for about 1.5 hours. You are on your own for lunch and we will pick you up at your hotel or restaurant between 12:30 pm and 1:00 pm.

After lunch the Swirl part of the Rock Hop and Swirl – Land Tour begins. The Sedona Adventure Company becomes your guide through an exciting portion of the Verde Valley Wine Trail located in Sedona wine country. Our Scenic Wine Tasting Tour includes wine tasting at Arizona Stronghold Vineyards, Pillsbury Wine Company, and Page Springs Cellars. Each Vineyard has their own unique blend of wines for tasting and subsequent purchase.

Tour Time:
Approximately 7.5 – 8 hours from start to finish.
Includes 2 – 3 hours of hiking, and 1.5 hour lunch break on your own, and approximately 3.5 hours of wine tasting.

Price:
$150.00 per adult includes hiking and all wine tastings. Picture ID required.
$120.00 per adult includes hiking without wine tastings.
