Grand Water to Wine Sedona Adventure TourThis spectacular, fun and adventurous tour begins with an approximately 3 hour guided river trip down the incredible Wild and Scenic Verde River. Our inflatable Ducky Kayaks are comfortable and safe making this trip ideal even for beginners. No experience necessary. Your river trip will take you through the high desert wilderness of the Verde River Valley with many small sporty chutes and drops like Treasure Island, Clear Creek Rapid, Rocky Drop, Tunnel of Love, Ash Banks, Butterfly Bend, and more!

Your Grand Water to Wine Tour continues to one of the premium boutique wineries in the Verde River Valley, Javelina Leap Vineyard & Winery in Page Springs where you will savor award winning, handcrafted wines and a delicious lunch in a shady mesquite grove with picnic tables and a grassy park like setting. On Fridays and Saturdays, a guided tour of the barrel room and equipment “crush pad” is frequently available as an added treat.

If you would like to expand your wine tasting experience there are many small wonderful vineyards and wine tasting rooms close by as a compliment to your Grand Water to Wine adventure; such as Oak Creek Cellars & Page Spring Cellars and wine and beer tasting at the nearby Desert Market.

Approximately 6 hours from start to finish

Launch Time and Location:
Javalina Leap Vineyard and WineryWe will pick you up at 7:30am at the Javelina Leap winery and shuttle you to your river trip. You will launch at 9am. Get a printable map and directions here. Our shuttle will bring you to the river departure point. OR you can meet us at the river. Get a printable map to the Beasley Flats departure point here. At the end of your trip you can follow our shuttle to Javelina Leap where the wine tasting potion of the Grand Water to Wine Adventure will begin.

Adults $149.00 (must be over 21 and have a valid driver’s license)
Adults: $129.00 without wine tasting
Price includes gourmet box lunch, water and a $20.00 per adult credit at the Javelina Leap for wine tasting, bottles of wine, or any gifts.

What to bring:
Sunhat, sunscreen, sunglasses, camera in a Ziploc water proof bag. Dress appropriately for the weather and the time of year.

What we provide:
An awesome guide, boats, paddles, personal flotation device (PFD), splash pant, all transportation, snacks, beverage.

Typical Schedule and Itinerary (This is a sample – your tour times will be included in your confirmation email)

  • 7:30 to 7:45 am arrive at Javelina Leap in Page Springs (Maps) and park. This is where you’re Grand Water to Wine tour will begin and end.
  • Get all your stuff ready and be prepared to depart with our shuttle van for the river promptly at 8:00 am. For suggestions on what to wear click here.
  • 8:00 Meet with our shuttle driver and depart for the river.
  • 8:45 Shuttle arrives at Clear Creek River Access Point for safety orientation and Ducky Kayak instructions.
  • 9:00 Trip Launches for fun and sporty chutes and drops of Treasure Island, Clear Creek Rapid, Rocky Drop, Tunnel of Love, Ash Banks and more!
  • 11:00 to 11:30 Verde River Trip ends at Beasley Flats.
  • 12:00 to 12:30 arrive at Javalina Leap Vineyards & Winery for a well deserved lunch and the beginning of an incredible wine tasting experience.
  • 1:30 Many small wonderful vineyards and wine tasting rooms close by to explore: Oak Creek Cellars & Page Spring Cellars and wine and beer tasting at the Desert Market (Cornville & Page Springs Roads or Casey’s Korner).
