River flow during the spring months can range from mild to wild due to the possibility of snow melt coming down-river in early spring from higher country.
Summer
Monsoon season also increases river flow and potential for flash floods.
Fall
Once monsoon season has passed, river flow at this time of year is moderate and easily maneuverable.
Winter
River flow during the winter is often mild. However, flash floods are possible during times of increased precipitation.
